Just like any dog, a puppy will require chews with some regularity in order to maintain healthy gums and teeth. In order to avoid damage to your puppy’s teeth, you should find chews designed for young dogs. Not only will these be softer, and therefore better for their teeth, it also includes some of the nutrients and minerals which puppies need in order to develop at the optimum level.
