Keeping your Dog Hydrated
Some dog walks can turn into adventures, and if you really want to take your dog deep into the wilds, then you’re going to have to make sure they remain hydrated. If you’re visiting a location that’s rather ‘out in the open’ and you’re not entirely sure on the water supply, make sure you take plenty of water, perhaps even a dog bottle.
These are now readily available on the market and they allow the dog to scoop the water with their tongues. You may also want to consider taking food because dogs need fuel just like us humans do, and you’ll both need ‘fuel’ if you want to stay energised.
Domesticated dogs are not well-suited to being outdoors for too long without food and drink, so make sure you’re prepared when you’re walking your dog in an unfamiliar location.
